Use GoTo To Quickly Navigate Large Excel Workbooks

I want to share with you a tip that I use most days if my rows of data are more than a few hundred lines (which is most days!!).

It’s the Go To feature where you can specify an exact cell location or a range of cells that you refer to under one name (named range).

  • Hit F5
  • The  Go To dialog box appears-
  • In the Reference area type the cell reference- for example A5
  • Hit Enter Excel will take you directly to that area
  •  Alternatively if you have a named range, type the name of the range, or select from the suggestions. In my example below I have a named range of MY_DATA_AREA
