Hi Excellers. I want to share a great Excel tip with you that I use all of the time. Especially as I receive a lot of workbooks and worksheets that need to be printed. Some of which contain a lot of colours. Now lots of users love to have lots of colour coding in their worksheets. Whilst this is not everyone’s cup of tea, it happens. It can be quite distracting and also degrade the quality of printout if you do print your worksheets as hard copies.
But, if you do have a large number of worksheets you need to print but the colour is not what you want then there is a way of avoiding it. It also can make the worksheets easier to read and has the added benefit of saving printer ink. Ok, let’s get on with the tip.
Printing Excel Worksheets Without Colour
- Select your Printer
- Find Printer Properties
- Depending on your printer, find the options to select Greyscale
- Hit Ok to print
- No more colours!
