Display Pivot Table Summaries Below Group of Data


I really do not like the way when you create a Pivot Table and add multiple fields to the Row or Column Label areas, subtotals are shown at the the top for outer fields. This just does not sit well with me. I like my subtotals below. It is easy to change this in Excel.

  • Select any cell in the Pivot Table
  • In Pivot Table Tools hit the Design Tab
  • In the Layout Group hit Subtotals
  • Select Show all Subtotals at Bottom of Group
  • That’s better!
