Changing The Font Colour


Excel easily allows you to change the colour of your fonts.  There may be a number of reasons why you would want to do this.  You may want certain figures to stand out, in colour and be bold.  This can be very effective in presentations and in the increased number of people using colour printouts makes this extra formatting valuable.

Whatever the reason you want to do this, its very simple

  1. Highlight the cells you want to change font colour
  2. Cells
  3. Format
  4. Font
  5. Colour
  6. OK

You can also use use the options on these tabs to change the font type, make it bold, italics or change its size.

OR

Highlight the cells you want to change font colour | Font Colour Toolbar | Select Colour From Colour Palette

You will see that the colour is left at the last colour you chose so its there ready for you the next time, just select the cells you wish to change and click the font colour tool again.
