I know someone who loves cell borders, they really do. I’m no fan myself in most circumstances. But, in keeping with the Bronze Silver and Gold theme of the recently finished Olympics In London 2012, lets jazz up our cells with some with some border color fun.
In my example I have taken Team GB’s chart of medal results and to emphasize the number of medals in each category I have changed the cell borders accordingly. Here’s how easy it is:-
- Home Tab
- Font Group
- Select Line Color
- Select Border Type Or Style
- Draw your required border around your cells
- That’s it!
As you can see below I have chosen Bronze Silver and Gold to emphasize the medal awards for GB.
This is a nice way to highlight important pieces of information on your Excel worksheets
